Burgon & Ball
Burgon & Ball have been making and supplying gardening and agricultural tools in the UK since 1730 when it began manufacturing agricultural shears in Sheffield, an area known since the 14th century for its skills in knives and steel.
In 1873 the then family-ran business built La Plata Works at Malin Bridge in Sheffield and still manufactures from these premises.

Burgon & Ball began making agricultural tools in 1730 and today is part of the Venanpri global family of the finest heritage tool brands.
In 2010 they collaborated with designer Sophie Conran creating award winning giftware ranges and in 2012 Burgon & Ball stainless steel tools were officially endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society - possibly the ultimate accolade in the gardening industry.
