Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori merge their distinctive artistic sensibilities in Happy Eternity Baby, a joyful and expressive reinterpretation of the traditional nativity scene. For the first time, both designers lend their names to a shared creation—an imaginative porcelain crib that captures the emotional richness of Christmas with playful charm and poetic detail. Known for their individual festive works—Jori’s whimsical bauble-crèches and Giacon’s tender figurines—this collaboration offers a fresh, design-led take on a timeless symbol.
This hand-decorated porcelain set includes the central Happy Eternity Baby crib (AGJ01 W), featuring the Holy Family, ox and donkey, nestled within a grotto beneath a starry sky. The ensemble is completed by three additional characters: Angelo Miracolo (AGJ01 3), a cheerful angel; Stella Cometa (AGJ01 5), the delicate guiding star; and Trino (AGJ01 11), a delightfully ironic camel with three humps—one for each of the Magi. Each figure is crafted with expressive detail and a touch of humour, inviting warmth and wonder into the festive home.
This unusual interpretation of the nativity scene is both communicative and emotive, designed to evoke smiles and spark conversation. A celebration of tradition through the lens of contemporary Italian design, Happy Eternity Baby is ideal for those who appreciate artistry, storytelling, and the joyful spirit of Christmas.
