Gesture is a sleek, vertical pendant lampshade designed to create a warm and welcoming expression of light. Its slender metal form channels light downwards into the acrylic shade, where it’s gently diffused to produce a soft, indirect glow without glare — ideal for spaces that call for atmosphere as well as clarity.
The combination of precise aluminium and steel detailing with translucent acrylic gives Gesture a refined, almost weightless appearance. Rather than exposing the light source, the design relies on reflected and diffused illumination to create a comfortable ambience throughout the room.
Available in two lengths, Gesture works beautifully as a single, subtle point of light or arranged in groups for striking compositions. Its slim proportions make it particularly suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, meeting rooms and interiors where multiple pendants can be used without overwhelming the space.
Designed by Søren Ravn Christensen for UMAGE, Gesture offers a contemporary lighting solution that blends Scandinavian simplicity with atmospheric, indirect illumination. Customers can choose the pendant with or without the recommended Little Idea LED bulb.

If we’re unable to deliver within the stated period due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
If an order is returned to us because it is undeliverable due to an incorrect delivery address, or if it is not collected from a courier pick‑up point and subsequently returned, we will refund the cost of the items minus any delivery charges paid.
Please note, we cannot accept responsibility if you choose to change the delivery address or request for your parcel to be left in a safe place after despatch.
