The Alessandro M. corkscrew returns in a fresh, dynamic interpretation for 2026, dressed in Arthur Arbesser’s vibrant Twirl pattern. Inspired by “the movement of a metal corkscrew as it enters the cork and the line it generates”, Arbesser translates this precise mechanical gesture into a swirling graphic language of coloured stripes that wrap around Alessandro’s figure with rhythm, rotation and lightness.
The pattern flows seamlessly across his outfit, giving the character a vivid, almost kinetic presence. This capsule edition celebrates the playful spirit of Mendini’s original design while introducing a contemporary fashion‑driven twist — a meeting point between iconic Italian design and Arbesser’s bold visual storytelling.
Crafted from AlkiPaper®, an innovative biocomposite derived from food‑grade paper, Alessandro M. Twirl embodies a conscious approach to modern production. The metal and nylon elements can be easily dismantled for recycling, and each piece features a laser engraving on the collar marking the author and year of creation.

UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
If an order is returned to us because it is undeliverable due to an incorrect delivery address, or if it is not collected from a courier pick‑up point and subsequently returned, we will refund the cost of the items minus any delivery charges paid.
Please note, we cannot accept responsibility if you choose to change the delivery address or request for your parcel to be left in a safe place after despatch.
