A vibrant new interpretation of Alessandro Mendini’s iconic Anna G. corkscrew, the Twirl edition reimagines the beloved figure through the graphic, kinetic design language of Arthur Arbesser. Inspired by “the movement of the corkscrew as it enters the cork and the line it generates”, Arbesser transforms this mechanical gesture into a swirling pattern of coloured stripes that wrap around Anna’s silhouette with rhythm, rotation and playful energy.
On Anna’s skirt, the stripes shift into a lively succession of diamonds — an unexpected, couture‑like detail that enhances the sense of motion. At the base, a small two‑tone flower is revealed, where the steel worm appears like a delicate pistil, echoing Mendini’s original vision of a ballerina pirouetting atop a bottle.
Made from AlkiPaper®, an innovative biocomposite derived from food‑grade paper, Anna G. Twirl embodies a conscious approach to design. The metal and nylon components can be easily dismantled for recycling, and each piece carries a laser engraving marking the author and year of production.
Released as a limited capsule edition, Anna G. Twirl is a joyful collectible for design lovers, Mendini enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to the fusion of fashion, colour and contemporary Italian design.
The Twirl story continues with the Alessandro M. – Twirl corkscrew, decorated in the same dynamic Arbesser pattern — a perfect companion to Anna G.

Our standard delivery service is with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 48 service for UK mainland orders, for Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland we use Royal Mail

If we’re unable to deliver within the stated period due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
If an order is returned to us because it is undeliverable due to an incorrect delivery address, or if it is not collected from a courier pick‑up point and subsequently returned, we will refund the cost of the items minus any delivery charges paid.
Please note, we cannot accept responsibility if you choose to change the delivery address or request for your parcel to be left in a safe place after despatch.
