Alessi have combined the popular 3 Cup Pulcina FM designed by Michele de Lucchi with two white porcelain mocha cups & saucers designed by Jasper Morrison to offer this lovely Coffee Set presented in a gift box designed especially for the Alessi & Coffee collection.
The Pulcina Coffee Maker is practical, functional and just as easy to use as conventional espresso machines. Simply fill the boiler with cold water, making sure the water level stays below the safety valve and place the filter funnel into the boiler. Fill the filter funnel to the brim with ground coffee and level it by pressing gently and then screw the upper body firmly onto the boiler. The magnetic steel bottom makes it suitable for induction cooking.
The inner shape of the Pulcina is designed to interrupt the extraction of the coffee at just the right moment, avoiding a burnt or bitter aftertaste and the V-shaped spout, reminiscent of a chicken's beak, perfectly interrupts the dripping when pouring the coffee.
The Alessi Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker Set makes a great gift or anyone looking for the perfect gift for coffee lovers.
