The Umage Faraday Pendant Lampshade is a sculptural centrepiece that brings elegance, atmosphere and scientific inspiration into your interior. Designed by Jonas Søndergaard, it pays tribute to British scientist Michael Faraday and his pioneering work in electromagnetism. The lampshade’s fine metal mesh echoes Faraday’s cage theory, surrounding a milky-white opal globe that diffuses light into a soft, glare-free glow.
Whether suspended above a dining table, in a hallway or as part of a layered lighting scheme, Faraday adds visual interest and ambient warmth. The mesh structure casts subtle patterns onto nearby surfaces, enhancing the mood with a touch of artistry. Available in two sizes—medium and large—it can be mixed and matched to create a striking sculptural arrangement.

Crafted from steel and opal glass, Faraday is compatible with the Umage Rosette Cord Set (sold separately), which includes a 2.1m textile cord, ceiling rose and E27 fitting. Its contrasting metal detailing and minimalist form make it ideal for both residential and hospitality settings.

This timeframe is only a guide — in some cases your order may arrive sooner than the estimate. If we’re unable to deliver within the stated period due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
If an order is returned to us because it is undeliverable due to an incorrect delivery address, or if it is not collected from a courier pick‑up point and subsequently returned, we will refund the cost of the items minus any delivery charges paid.
Please note, we cannot accept responsibility if you choose to change the delivery address or request for your parcel to be left in a safe place after despatch.
