Black By Design: Christmas Gift Guide 2016

As well as our excellent gift range which is divided into various personality types and passions, we have some wonderful products which will make this Christmas a special one. Browse our homeware collections to find the perfect Christmas gifts for your loved ones.

The Entertainer

Treat your friend with the best hosting skills to a LSA International Prosecco Serving Set, which includes four mouth blown glass flutes and an ice bucket with hand-applied decoration. This luxurious set will suit prosecco and champagne lovers down to the ground. Perhaps the man in your life enjoys a good whiskey, in which case we recommend the beautiful whiskey glassware from the same LSA International collection. A stunning individual glass whiskey decanter on a walnut base, or a complete set tray which includes includes the decanter, two tumblers and water jug on walnut coasters and two nosing glasses with covers. An ideal gift for the whiskey connoisseur.

The popular Alessi Circus range provides a playful touch to dinner parties with the wonderful colours incorporated in their wine cooler and ice bucket designs. Meanwhile, the folding cake stand and all purpose boxes are perfect for afternoon tea and Christmas baking.

The Homebody

Staying in is the new going out and never has this been more true for wintertime. For the loved one who has created their own cosy sanctuary, we recommend treating them to a Tweedmill throw they can enjoy snuggling up in this festive season. Checks, stripes, polka dots, we’ve got a design to suit. The perfect accompaniment to a chilly morning would be the Alessi Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker in contemporary aluminium casting; stopping filtering at just the right moment, this coffee maker is bound to improve a coffee lover’s drinking experience. For those who prefer a comforting cup of tea, the Stelton Theo range will have just the thing with their teapots and milk jugs in unique looking cast-iron designs.

The Interiors Lover

You no doubt know somebody who enjoys changing up their home interiors regularly and who invests in statement pieces for their home. We love the furniture from Baa Stool whose sheepskin covered bar stools and foot stools would be an impressive addition to any home. Opt for a gorgeous neutral sheepskin colour such as taupe or cream to fit in with a Scandinavian style interior, or mix it up with a vibrant teal or purple. It’s bound to become a talking point!

Four Legged Friends

Not to leave out our furry friends, the Alessi Tigrito Cat Bowl will be a favourite among felines everywhere this Christmas with it’s separate stainless steel bowls and cute cat character which doubles as a handle – purrfect! We also have a stylish dog bowl option for posh pooches.
